Services

TechZone is built around real-world field experience: cable on the reel, lifts on the floor, and stores that still have to open in the morning. We combine disciplined planning with hands-on execution to keep your projects on schedule.

Structured Cabling

Network & low-voltage cabling

Design and installation of Cat5e/Cat6 runs, terminations, and IDF/MDF layouts. Clean, labeled, and certified drops for POS, kiosks, printers, access points, cameras, and back-of-house systems.

IDF / MDF

Rack, patch, & switch work

Patch-panel mapping, switch port assignment, re-termination, and clean-up of legacy cabinets. Focus on clear labeling so future work is fast and repeatable.

Rollouts

Multi-site project execution

Night crews, phased work, and tight coordination with primes, vendors, and store management. Ideal for chain-wide refreshes or technology upgrades across hundreds of locations.

Documentation

Labeling, certification & reporting

Cable IDs, port maps, certification results, punch-list tracking, and clear written summaries so stakeholders know exactly what was done and what remains.

3D Scanning

Matterport & site capture

High-resolution scans of interiors and exteriors for remodel planning, asset tracking, and remote walk-throughs. Hosting handled through the client’s own Matterport account.

Automation

Tools & process automation

Custom tooling to streamline scheduling, paperwork, and reporting for recurring work, helping primes and end-clients keep large programs organized.

How we work

TechZone is built to plug into your existing process—whether you’re an end-client, a prime contractor, or another technology vendor. Communication and repeatable workflows are just as important as pulling cable.

  • Night and off-hours work to keep revenue-producing areas open.
  • Clear scopes, walk-throughs, and expectations before work begins.
  • Professional on-site behavior that reflects well on your brand.
  • Real-time status updates and punch-list tracking.
  • Attention to safety and store policies for every technician on site.

Typical engagement flow

1. Discovery — Review scope, drawings, and scheduling constraints.
2. Planning — Build run counts, IDF plans, and nightly work windows.
3. Execution — On-site work with daily notes and photos as needed.
4. Turnover — Final labeling, certification, and documentation packaged for your records.

Industries & environments

Most of TechZone’s work happens in live, customer-facing environments where downtime and clutter are not an option.

Retail & big box

Front-end lanes, online grocery pickup, specialty departments, and back-of-house infrastructure in active stores with strict scheduling and safety requirements.

Restaurants & QSR

POS, kitchen printers, KDS screens, drive-thru, guest Wi-Fi, and security camera runs in busy kitchens and dining rooms.

Hospitality & multi-tenant

Guest-room networks, common areas, meeting spaces, exterior wireless, and 3D scans for renovations and sales.
